| Accommodations |
UC Davis Conference Housing offers accommodations in three locations: Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto. Both the Segundo and Tercero areas are centrally located on campus, while the Cuarto area, on the periphery of campus, offers suite style accommodations. All of our buildings are air-conditioned and include convenient dining facilities. Housing options in the Segundo and Tercero areas offer traditional dormitory style accommodations in addition to unique cluster-style accommodations, which provide one bathroom for small room clusters.
The UC Davis campus is surrounded by open spaceincluding some of the most productive agricultural land in the state. Outdoor sports enthusiasts will find many beautiful recreational areas within a 70-mile drive from campus: the American River, Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa, the Napa and Sonoma valleys and the historic Mother Lode country. The Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and coastal areas of Mendocino and Monterey are about 150 miles from Davis. If you prefer urban attractions, Sacramento, the state capital, is 15 miles to the east, and San Francisco is just 72 miles to the southwest. Both cities offer visual and performing arts, professional sports and other entertainment. |

| Segundo Area Accommodations |
| The Segundo area features three distinct building complexes: the Segundo complex comprised of Bixby, Gilmore, Malcolm, & Ryerson Halls, the three building Segundo North complex, and the Regan Hall complex of two-level buildings. The Segundo area is located on the northwest corner of campus, directly across from the Rec Hall and Activities & Recreation Center and a short walk from outdoor sport fields and the Recreation Pool. In addition to its proximity to campus sports and fitness complexes, Segundo offers convenient parking and large grassy areas. |

Bixby, Gilmore, Malcolm, & Ryerson Halls
These four traditional residence halls, offering panoramic views through their large picture windows, are located directly across from the UC Davis Recreation Hall and Activities & Recreation Center. Each five-story building houses 200 guests and has a large community lounge on the ground level with fireplace, cable television, and study areas. Each floor houses approximately fifty guests with dormitory style bathroom facilities, a laundry room, lounge, and kitchenette. All buildings are air conditioned and offer double occupancy accommodations. |

|
Alder, Thompson & Miller Halls
Located within the Segundo area, each of these three-story buildings in the Segundo North complex houses approximately 360 guests. Encircling a central plaza, these buildings feature covered bike parking, large community spaces, and key card access to individual rooms. Each building has a television lounge, study lounge, and laundry room on the ground floor, as well as a lounge on each living floor. The central building has a kitchenette, piano room, and a main lounge for group activities. All buildings are air conditioned, carpeted, and offer double occupancy accommodations. The 200 square foot double occupancy rooms are grouped in clusters of four with a shared bathroom; clusters open onto wide hallways to promote social interaction. |

Regan Hall
Regan Hall
is a 400-guest complex within the Segundo area. The seven buildings that make up Regan Hall are clustered around a large courtyard that becomes the scene for recreation, relaxing, talking, and studying. The hall's common building holds a large lounge, fireplace, cable television, and a study lounge, while air conditioned buildings house sixty guests each. Each building offers a lounge and kitchenette, laundry room, and a single dormitory style bathroom on each floor. Most rooms are double occupancy, but a few single occupancy spaces are available; a number of "quad" accommodations are available as well, with four guests sharing three rooms. |

Segundo Dining Commons
Located on the south side of Bixby and Gilmore halls in the Segundo housing area.
The aim of our dining facilities is to create a restaurant-style experience for our guests. A new system of food-preparation stations creates an approach dubbed "destination dining." Once our guests choose a burger from the Tomato Street Grill or a Mongolian barbeque-style dish from Pacific Fusion, they head to the appropriate platform, where the chefs serve the food they have just prepared.
The chefs do the serving to encourage manageable portions, while adding to the flavor of presentation. With seating available at every locale in the dining hall, guests are able to sit down and finish one dish before deciding to try another. |
