UC Davis is served by several major airports as well as its own small airport for private planes. The University Airport is managed by Transportation & Parking Services, and is available Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Traveling by car from Sacramento International Airport
Take I-5 south towards Sacramento/Yuba City, then
I-80 West towards San Francisco, and merge onto
Highway 113 North towards Woodland.

Take the Russell Blvd exit and turn right onto Russell.
Travel Time: Approximately 45 minutes


Sacramento International Airport is also served by public transit. Yolobus Line 42 costs a very minimal amount, and will get you to Davis, Amtrak [Sacramento], or Greyhound [Sacramento]. Buses operate every hour Monday-Saturday and every 2 hours Sunday and holidays [service to/from Sacramento International Airport operates every 2 hours on July 4th].

Travel Time: Approximately 45 minutes to Davis, 15 minutes to Sacramento

 

Traveling by car from San Francisco International Airport
Take US-101 North towards San Francisco, then
I-80 East towards Bay Bridge [bridge toll]. Continue on
I-80 East towards Sacramento, and merge onto
Highway 113 North towards Woodland.
Take the Russell Blvd exit and turn right onto Russell.

Travel Time: Less than 1.5 hours to Davis [allow significantly more time during heavy traffic]

 

Traveling by car from Oakland International Airport
Take I-880 North towards Oakland, then
I-80 East [bridge toll] towards Sacramento, and merge onto
Highway 113 North towards Woodland.
Take the Russell Blvd exit and turn right onto Russell.

Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour to Davis [allow significantly more time during heavy traffic]

 

Davis Train StationAmtrak is located less than 15 minutes walk from campus in downtown Davis, near Second & G Streets.
